Our network consists of both wireless and wired connectivity, PC and Mac computer labs, scanners, black and white laserjet printers, and a color plotter. In order to get connected to our network and utilize its' resources, you must be a student, faculty or staff member of The Art Institue of York - Pennsylvania. Guest access is only given at the IT Department's discretion. Software requirements are also needed to get connected to our network as listed below:

Mac - How do I login to the Network via wireless?
|
- Connect to the "aibawireless" network.

- Open a Web browser (Firefox, Safari, etc.) and enter your Art Institute of York - Pennsylvania username and password.

Mac - How do I connect to network shares (Storage, Hand In, Shared Items)?

- From the Finder, Click "Go" then "Connect to Server".

- In the "Server Address:" field type "aiy-student1.aiy.aii.edu" and click "Connect".

- Then enter your Art Institute of York - Pennsylvania username and password.

- Select the appropriate share location you would like to connect to and click "OK".

- Make sure the following option is selected: “Browse for a printer”
- Click on “Next >”
- In the field labeled “Printer” type the following address:
\\printsvr\pc1 (for the first floor printers)
\\printsvr\pc2 (for the second floor printers)
\\printsvr\1407pc (for the student printer in the 1407 building)

PC - Clean Access says I'm quarantined, what does that mean?
|
Clean Access requires that you have the following:
- Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition installed and up-to-date.
- All current critical Windows Updates
If either one of the above requirements are not met you will be "quarantined" and will not be able to access the Internet, printers, etc. Once you update Symantec Antivirus and install the current critical Windows updates, you should be able to successfully login.
