Writing Lab
|
REAL PEOPLE ARE ALIVE AND WELL AND WAITING
for you in the library. The writing lab that is available for all students and staff is more than just a drop-off box in the library; it is also an opportunity to sit down with a LIVING, BREATHING PERSON during staffed hours, and get some one-on-one help with WHATEVER you are writing. Yes, we look busy, but that's what we do while we wait for you to ask the next question or present the next problem. We are there to be interrupted. Don't let us get lonely and feel unwanted.
If the drop box is all you need, here's how it works:
- Place DATED PAPER into IN box-expect a 2-day turnaround. (If you need it right away, this is the time to see the live person.)
- Submit original for comparison, if applicable.
- SPELL CHECK; once two mistakes are found that show you've missed this step, reader will stop and paper will be placed into RETURNED box for you to spell check and re-submit. This will cost you time, so please SPELL CHECK.
