| About the Library | ||||||||
| The library at the Art Institute of York is a full-service library, with thousands of resource items available in a variety of formats; books, periodicals, online databases, websites, multimedia, etc. are all offered onsite. The library contributes in a creative and responsible manner to the students' learning endeavors, by continually acquiring and circulating the kinds of resources that are appropriate to our particular school. In addition, the Ai library contracts with the York County Library System to make available over 600,000 more items, all available through the online catalog. Because of the link with the county libraries, the Ai site is open to the general public after noon each day. The library is currently staffed with two full-time librarian, one part time, and two student assistants. | ||||||||
