Click Here to acces the IDEA Online surveys. You will have until 9/27/09 11:59PM EST to complete the surveys for your classes.
IDEA Online collects IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction system responses through an online survey tool.

08.28.2009 - 1407 Building Construction Update
|
|
Well, it's happening again...PROGRESS. While I wasn't here two years ago when we first renovated the 1407 building, I know that many people were affected by this progress, and the same is true with this series of changes to that building. As of this past Tuesday, Poole Construction began renovations to the east side of 1407; formerly part of YTI's corporate offices. Included in this project will be the addition of four new classrooms and a faculty restroom.

08.27.2009 - H1N1 Flu Virus (Swine Flu) Notice

As you've seen and read in the news, the seasonal flu combined with the H1N1 flu virus may result in a severe flu season. Therefore, The Art Institute of York is taking steps to reduce the spread of both diseases. We want to keep the campus open to students and functioning in a normal manner during this flu season.

04.20.2009 - Attention All 3rd Term Students

All 3rd term students must schedule a Financial Aid appointment during the Spring term. Please stop into the Financial Aid Office (located inside the double doors at the bottom of the main stairway) or contact Jamie Pickel at jpickel@aii.edu to schedule your appointment.

These hours will be in place for a short period of time this term. Email notification will be sent when full retail store hours resume for your shopping convenience. Thank you for all your assistance and understanding.

01.15.2009 - ATTENTION! Student Printers Have Moved.
|
|
The HP DesignJet 500 Plotter that is used by the Interior Design students has moved to the first floor of the 1409 building, beside the first floor printers. The second floor printers have also moved from the Cafe to in front of the large windows at the top of the steps on the second floor.

12.21.2008 - New Feature! Package Pickup and Repair Status
|
|
Starting 12.21.2008 all packages that you have sent to the IT Department will now be posted on this Web site instead of written on the white board outside the IT Department. Also, any laptops that are brought in for repair will have a status posted and when it is ready to be picked up.

12.1.2008 - New Refund Dispersment Information
|
|
We are pleased to announce that all student stipends will now be processed using a company called Sallie Mae Business Office Solutions. (Independent from the Sallie Mae Loan division) The Art Institute of York - Pennsylvania will forward your stipend amounts to SM Business Office Solutions where they will send your stipend based upon the method you select.

11.14.2008 - Now HP Authorized Service Provider

The Art Institute of York Pennsylvania's IT Department is now an HP Authorized Service Provider for all business class laptop computers. We are also an Authorized Service Provider for all Apple laptop computers and MPC\Gateway business class laptop computers.

10.24.2008 - *** EXTREMELY *** CRITICAL Windows Update
|
|
Microsoft released an EMERGENCY, EXTREMELY CRITICAL update for Microsoft Windows. This update corrects a vulnerability in RPC that could be exploited to completely compromise an unpatched computer. The versions of Windows affected are all versions of Windows 2000, all versions of Windows XP, all versions of Windows Vista, as well as various versions of Windows Server.
